Knowledge Is Power

As a kid, well younger I mean; I hated going to school. It wasn’t that I did poorly in school but it didn’t seem like I was going anywhere in school and it was very boring. Until, I learned that being good at school will definitely benefit in the long run. Knowledge is power I always say. Having a school that provides really strong teachers and has high grades will definitely be a benefit. Having fun in school is also something to note. School shouldn’t be about the worst parts of your childhood but the starting of something great. That’s why the best schools or even teachers try to make learning fun and memorable. Also, schools carrying extra-curricular activities are a great way to start having a little fun in school and even letting some steam off. Always try to have a little fun while in school so you’re not “brain-dead.” But inside the learning environment or a classroom for instance, the teacher should really try to interact with the students and try to make a lesson more enjoyable. These lessons will help us later on in life no matter how boring they are. That’s why I think it’s best to learn as much as you can so that you can be something better later on in life. Why fool around in school and try really hard to get a very low paying job when you could have tried really hard in school and learn as much as you can to get your dream job or a high paying job? Knowledge or a brain is one thing humans have that should not be wasted. Empower yourself with knowledge and you won’t regret it. When you’re in school wondering why I am sitting here listening to a boring lesson, tell yourself knowledge is power and try your hardest. Even if your having a bad day, remember it will get better later on in life. Keep your chin high. #knowlegeispower

Got Ambition?

Pretty Thoughtful Blog

Ambition (n) ; a strong desire to do or achieve something.

Something that is almost always encouraged and yet, somehow, almost always frowned upon. It’s too easy to go into the complexities of male vs. female ambition but feel free to comment about it because YES.

I am a very ambitious person but, maybe strangely, not in work.

I do not dream of furthering my career in the office I work in. I have no desire to try to step my way up to a managerial position and gain more money and authority even though that is what most people I know would determine ambition to be. Work harder, make more money yada-yada-yada.

For me ambition is something else. Ambition isn’t the feeling I have for work but the feeling I have for life.

Ambition is what pushes me to try to be more creative, try to be healthier, try to…

I totally agree but if you think about it it’s possible they could be holding the truth so chaos doesn’t happen. What would happen if the government or a secret organization proved aliens were here to destroy earth, capture us and experiment on us? People would go crazy. It’s even possible that aliens could be humans but changed from secret experiments with water, how would people react to that? The amount of possibilities are endless but I do agree we should at least know that aliens or UFO’S exist.

I had humbled myself before on this topic. But once I see a great show like mufon on the men in black or ancient aliens, I get kinda pissed again.  It bothers me that some people think it is their responsibility to hide things so extraordinary from the rest.  I mean we don’t live in the old days anymore.  Everyone knows of the conspiracies and cover ups.  It takes nothing to jump on the Internet….or turn the tv to the history channel. It’s there!!! What exactly could they be benefiting from that they don’t want us to know. Well I could name lots….the control of the people with technology for one. I think that’s so selfish!! It hurts me and makes me think deep to know some of our leaders aren’t who they say they are. ….they aren’t really going to do the things they say they are going to…

Should We Be A Country Of Extremists Or A Country Of Reason?

Lean Left

All of the talking heads are going on and on about Donald Trump.  Some hate Donald Trump, and others are in love with Donald Trump.  Trump is still leading the polls and the regular Republican field is falling further and further behind.  Only Carson and Fiorina seem to be able to keep up with him, but just barely.

We are hearing all sorts of people telling us that Trump is the “strong leader” this country needs.  We are being told conversely that Trump is bad for America and simply a buffoon.  However, his backers are not listening to the converse arguments.  They are listening to the first argument.

As everyone waits for Trump’s star to fizzle out, he seems to be getting stronger with every interview.  At least stronger with the base of the Republican Party.  He even appears to be overcoming the one thing most thought would drag him…

What’s With That ‘Woman On Mars’ Photo?

Mars is getting stranger and stranger.

Great movie, but that's not what we're talking about.

Today, UFO fans are freaking out over an image posted by NASA they claim shows a woman standing on a rock on Mars. And it sure looks like a woman, even though it isn’t! So, what’s the deal?

Where’s this woman on Mars?

Right here:

Or, you know, it’s a dust cloud. It is not a human, we know that much: A human without a pressure suit on Mars would boil to death while they asphyxiated. So, unless Martians have hide-and-seek ultramarathons as their planet-wide sport, it’s unlikely to be any sort of life form.

But it looks a lot like a woman.

It does! That’s because our brains are wired to find faces and people everywhere. That’s an extremely common neurological phenomenon called pareidolia; it was a pretty strong evolutionary advantage to spot faces hidden in things…
